Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a Short Term Acute Care facility located in City, State. This role involves working a Day 3x12-Hour shift from 07:00 to 19:00, with responsibilities that include on-call requirements and weekend shifts as dictated by departmental needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance in various surgical procedures with a focus on advanced oncology surgical cases.Participate in calls for 16 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends every four weeks.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.Maintain knowledge of surgical equipment and techniques.Support patient care across various surgical specialties including Bariatrics, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, GYN, and others.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience required in a relevant setting.Previous charge experience is not required.Certification as a Surgical Technologist or military training is mandatory.Current BLS, NBSTSA, and ASATT certifications are required.Experience with trauma, specifically Level I or Level II, is preferred.Travel experience is required.Skills and CompetenciesProficient in a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to:Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repairC-sectionsLaparoscopic assisted casesTrauma surgeryEndovascular Aortic RepairAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Epic charting system is preferred.Patient Care and Facility InformationFacility Type: Short Term Acute CareTotal Staffed Beds: 418Daily Census: Approximately 60 patientsSurgical Specialties: Comprehensive adult specialties with a focus on advanced oncology surgical cases.Additional requirements include flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to work holidays as needed.Application InstructionsIf you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please submit your application for consideration.
