Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Assist with intubations, vent experience, nebulizer, BiPaP, CPAP, ABG collection.

Special Requests: - First-time travelers considered upon review.

Unit Details: - Patient population ranges from neonate to geriatric with respiratory issues. - Uses BiPAP V60s and V30s, Penton Bennett 840 ventilators, and Hamilton and Enve transport vents.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend; open to every weekend if preferred. - Holiday rotation required. - Minimal on-call.

Floating Requirements: - Floating throughout the hospitals.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
