NEW! Professional Security Officer - South Houston

We are hiring a Flex Security Officer in the South Houston Area to support multiple locations during critical times. Responsibilities Rover: Perform foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity. Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property. Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet guests with courtesy, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages. Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices and verify IMEI against provided paperwork. North Dock: Monitor trash dock for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count inbound pallets, and support special projects during peak season. South Dock: Count inbound pallets, support special projects, send and receive emails, type truck information, and monitor open dock doors. Metal Detector: Check devices in and out, verify approved devices, ensure visitors pass through X‑ray, and prevent prohibited items from entering the building. Tracker: Maintain records of all high‑value loads using computer software. Available for first, second, or third shifts as needed. Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Available for on‑call roles and flexible shift coverage, including mornings, mid‑day, overnight, and weekends. Ability to work 2 shifts, 4–5 days a week for locations in South Houston. High school diploma or equivalent. Non‑commissioned security license required. Professional demeanor and appearance. Basic computer skills. Capability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum one year of customer service experience. Minimum one year of security experience. Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug). Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.
