This opportunity is based on a MIG welder career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience requirements: Minimum 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, squares, and dial calipers. Basic math and measurement skills. Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred. Blueprint and AWS welding symbol interpretation preferred.Job duties: Perform MIG and TIG welding with minimal supervision. Set up welding equipment according to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS). Produce weldments that meet AWS standards and engineering requirements. Read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions. Use measuring tools to verify accuracy and quality. Operate material handling equipment as needed. Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment. Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and electric grinders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.Physical capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.Benefits: Competitive weekly pay.
