We're hiring a TIG welder in Phoenix to join a team built on skill and grit.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo-year vocational welding program or equivalent technical training preferredAWS welding certification is a plusExperience RequirementsMinimum 4 years of professional welding experienceStrong TIG welding experience requiredExperience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumAbility to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and AWS welding symbolsExperience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, rulers, and squaresKnowledge of welding machine setup and operationBasic math and measurement conversion skillsJob DutiesPerform TIG welding on large and small weldments with tight tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawingsLay out, fit, tack, and fabricate weldments using fixtures and jigsPrepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting componentsInspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specificationsOperate welding equipment, grinders, hand tools, and measuring instrumentsPerform minor maintenance on welding equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsPhysical CapabilitiesFrequently stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and graspLift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs continuouslyPerform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shiftMaintain close visual attention for welding and inspection workWork safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBenefits: Weekly paychecks: On time, every time—like clockwork.
