Parts Specialist

Spares Parts SpecialistOur Spares Parts Specialists are important members of our Customer Care team. As a Spare Parts Specialist, you will assist customers in identifying correct replacement parts, and entering and tracking orders while communicating both internally and externally to ensure excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesDescription of Job Duties and Responsibilities:Receives calls and emails from customers and internal employees to provide answers to inquiries revolving around order status, product information, account status, pricing, product or serviceUtilizing SAP; routes shipping invoices and controlled documents and maintains records for insurance purposesFiling, typing, and performing standard transactions using the current UGA business systemCommunicate with European sister-company representatives, brokerage vendors, customs and internal UGA staffProvides vacation relief for other Spare Parts team membersQualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years position related experiencePosition requires basic to intermediate typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office, data processing)Experience working in customer relations utilizing professional written and verbal communicationsPosition requires basic to intermediate math and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, team environmentRequires ability to follow standard written and verbal instructions such as bills of materials and shipping documents, or equivalentBasic knowledge of inventory management techniquesAbility to read drawings and printsPreferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience):Knowledge of customs and international shipping procedures and regulationsCustomer relations and customer interaction experiencePrevious experience with UGA business system or equivalent for basic process transactionsBi-Lingual (English/German and/or English/Spanish preferred)Other (Supervisory Responsibilities, Physical Demands, Travel):Ability to work effectively in a noisy environmentAbility to multi-task and maintain an organized work stationMay be exposed to dust and moving machine partsThere are no supervisory responsibilities with this positionCore Competencies:Job KnowledgeInitiativeDecision MakingProblem SolvingAdaptabilityTime Management and ProductivityQualityCommunicationCustomer ServiceResults DrivenUnited Grinding North America, Inc. is a committed Equal Opportunity Employer EEO-M/F/Disabled/Vets UNITED GRINDING Group
