Our CompanyFilterPro USA companies is in the business of improving health through air purification. We manufacture, distribute, and service air filtration products and systems through our two companies: FP Filtration and FilterPro IAQ. FP Filtration manufactures and ships product throughout the Southeast United States; FilterPro IAQ distributes and services air filters across the Eastern US.OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Controller / Shared Services Lead to oversee our financial operations and help strengthen the systems that support our growing business.This role is responsible for owning the accuracy of our financials while improving the processes and systems behind them.We have a solid foundation in place. Your role is to tighten, improve, and build where needed.What You'll OwnFinancial OperationsManage monthly close and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingMaintain GAAP-compliant financials across multiple entitiesOversee general ledger, reconciliations, and account integritySupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow visibilityAssist with audit readiness and financial organizationShared Services OversightSupport and improve processes across:PayrollBenefits administrationHR coordinationInsurance and complianceHelp bring consistency and structure across these functionsSystems & Process ImprovementWork within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralImprove reporting accuracy and usabilityIdentify inefficiencies and implement better workflowsStrengthen internal controls and approval processesEnsure data is clean, consistent, and reliableOperational SupportPartner with operations and leadership to improve visibility into costs and profitabilityHelp identify areas of inefficiency or margin leakageSupport better decision-making through clear financial insightsWhat Success Looks LikeMonthly financials are accurate, consistent, and delivered on timeReporting is clear and trusted across the organizationCore processes (payroll, reporting, close) run smoothly without frictionSystems are being improved, not worked aroundWho This Role Is ForYou are:Detail-oriented and take ownership of your workComfortable working in a growing, evolving environmentAble to improve processes, not just follow themWilling to step in where needed and solve problemsPractical, organized, and accountableWho This Role Is NOT ForSomeone who only wants a narrow accounting roleSomeone who needs everything fully defined before actingSomeone who avoids working across departmentsExperience & Background5+ years in accounting or finance (Controller or similar experience preferred)Experience with multi-entity or growing businesses is a plusFamiliarity with ERP systems (Business Central preferred)Understanding of basic cost accounting and financial controlsExperience improving processes or systemsFinal NoteThis is a hands-on role with real ownership.You won't be asked to build everything from scratch, but you will be expected to improve what exists and take responsibility for making it better.
