Exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) seeking to make a tangible difference in a high school setting. This flexible, part-time position is dedicated to supporting one student at the high school age group who requires assistive technology (AT) support—specifically with eye gaze usage on an Accent device. The role focuses on providing both direct and indirect AT support, collaborating closely with the student and their educational team for up to 2 hours per week, on-site at a local high school.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Texas SLP license (issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required if applicable hours logged
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Proficiency with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), particularly programming, calibrating, and maintaining Accent devices using eye gaze technology
• Strong consultative and collaboration skills to guide educational staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite, direct SLP services tailored to a student using eye gaze AAC technology
• Program, calibrate, and maintain Accent devices as needed
• Provide indirect support and training to the student’s educational team, ensuring device integration across learning environments
• Document sessions and maintain clear, compliant records
• Coordinate with school personnel regarding student progress and equipment needs
