Groeneveld-BEKA strives to develop and manufacture all of its products in-house according to World Class Manufacturing principles.Position SummaryThe Distribution & Production Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of facility operations, including assembly, production efficiency, workforce management, and overall operational excellence. This role oversees both salaried and hourly staff, driving alignment with company goals for safety, quality, service, and cost. Success is achieved through effective leadership of supervisory, production support, and team leader associates, as well as through strong collaboration with operative associates on the floor.The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment, with demonstrated expertise in Lean and manufacturing processes. This individual will champion continuous improvement, streamline operations, and develop high-performing teams to deliver consistent improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & QualityLead and reinforce a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety programs, standards, and regulations.Oversee and drive quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in assembly and product delivery.Operations & Performance ManagementDevelop, monitor, and achieve operational KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.Manage workforce planning, staffing, and scheduling across shifts to meet customer demand.Oversee operational budgets, P&L performance, and cost management initiatives.Lean & Continuous ImprovementDrive Lean implementation and continuous improvement across all operational areas.Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.Lead and mentor teams in problem-solving and root cause analysis.Compliance & ValuesEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry regulations.Model and reinforce the company’s core values through daily actions and decision-making.Key Attributes:Continuous Improvement mindsetGood organization skillsStrong communication skills (verbal & written)Strong systemic mindset and problem solving skillsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, assembly, or distribution leadership.Proven track record of driving operational performance and efficiency.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience (Black Belt preferred).Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-timeAll qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
