Marketing Manager

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) Search has been retained by Lassen Canyon Nursery to identify a Marketing Manager to serve their team. The Marketing Manager will lead marketing across all three brands: Lassen Canyon Nursery, Elwood’s Steakhouse, and Elwood Ranch. This role will have a heavy emphasis on building awareness, traffic, and customer engagement for Elwood's Steakhouse. This hands-on role combines strategy and execution, including digital marketing, content development, promotions, events, partnerships, public relations, and brand management. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, community-minded, and comfortable working directly with ownership in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Lassen Canyon Nursery is a family-owned agricultural business with deep roots in Northern California. Its portfolio includes Lassen Canyon Nursery, a producer of quality strawberry plants; Elwood Ranch, a locally focused beef operation; and Elwood's Steakhouse, a farm-to-table restaurant concept built around locally sourced products and the region's agricultural heritage. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute an integrated marketing plan and annual calendar across the restaurant, ranch, and nursery brands. Lead restaurant marketing initiatives designed to increase awareness, guest traffic, reservations, repeat visits, private dining, and event participation. Plan and promote seasonal campaigns, menu launches, holidays, special events, community activities, and other revenue-driving opportunities. Manage social media, email marketing, website content, digital advertising, online listings, and customer communications. Create and coordinate engaging written, photo, and video content that tells the story of the restaurant, ranch, local sourcing, and agricultural heritage. Monitor online reviews and customer feedback; partner with restaurant leadership to support timely, brand-appropriate responses. Build relationships with local media, hotels, tourism organizations, chambers of commerce, influencers, and community partners. Support Elwood Ranch product marketing, agritourism initiatives, ranch events, sponsorships, and community engagement. Support Lassen Canyon Nursery through website updates, customer communications, trade shows, industry events, and marketing materials. Manage outside vendors, including designers, photographers, printers, media partners, and digital agencies, as needed. Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all customer-facing channels and materials. Track campaign performance, marketing spend, digital engagement, and business results; provide practical recommendations for improvement. What You’ll Need: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of marketing experience; hospitality, restaurant, food and beverage, tourism, agriculture, or consumer-brand experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with social media, content creation, email marketing, website management, and digital campaigns. Strong writing, communication, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to balance multiple brands, deadlines, vendors, and priorities without losing attention to detail. Comfort working independently in a hands‑on role while collaborating closely with owners and operational leaders. Experience with photography, video, graphic design, public relations, or event marketing is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
