CARD uses applied behavior analysis (ABA) to provide top‑quality, individualized treatment programs. 2366 Maritime Drive, Elk Grove, California 95758 Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. Duties include assessment, development, and implementation of treatment plans; training and coaching of caregivers and behavior technicians; and coaching in diverse settings such as center, home, school, community, or telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager and hold a salaried, exempt, full‑time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure 100% treatment adherence each month of supervision hours Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify their function Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe implementation for program revisions Monitor treatment integrity and adjust protocols as needed Direct behavior technicians in implementing new or revised protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to technicians Work primarily within the center to support technicians Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment protocols Update treatment plans at least monthly based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 billable hours per month, including supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregivers as part of the treatment team with consistent collaboration meetings Engage payers professionally for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews) Stay current on ABA best practices to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Partner consistently with center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, etc.) Other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field (required) Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required) Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate with strict confidentiality Collaborative team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude Independent problem‑solver with strong clinical judgment Effective verbal and written communication Excellent time management and ability to work in fast‑paced environments Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; quick to learn new systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets Willingness to work in various locations (center, home, etc.) Willingness to work with a variety of patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Pass tuberculosis test Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Work Environment Treatment may occur in patient homes, centers, schools, communities, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work both indoors and outdoors, moving between locations throughout the day. Environments may be noisy or loud at times. Physical Requirements Work with patients seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in varying settings Move frequently to gather materials and respond to patients’ movements and behaviors Adjust body mechanics to assist patients (kneel, crouch, block, etc.) Track patients visually while monitoring surrounding environment Evade aggressive behaviors and physically block attempts when necessary Assist patients in vocal speech and model communication clearly Model gross and fine motor skills (climbing, jumping, clapping, opening containers) Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Lift up to 30 lbs while assisting patients Additional Responsibilities Management of employer & patient property.
