Position Summary: The Operations Program Manager will support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in support of City of Hope. Strategic Program Management The position will be responsible for managing the operational performance of assigned programs. This position will:Develop and monitor key performance metricsDevelop and implement plans to achieve specified targets within the department and service line supportCoordinate and manage operational activities to improve integration, efficiency and analytics associated with City of Hope's support programs and facilitiesRoutinely report on performance to department leadershipDevelop and maintain the budget, timeline, and implementation planStrategic Project Management The position will partner with department leadership to identify and prioritize strategic projects to be undertaken each quarter. This position will:Directly lead the management of strategic initiatives and support services integration initiatives from inception to implementationServe as a liaison between Medical Foundation, Managed Care, Business Development, Finance, Enterprise Business Intelligence, Transformation Office, and operational leads to ensure objectives are achievedCreate and execute project plans, timelines, and budgetsManage daily tasks associated with implementation of initiativesEstablish routine reporting and templates to be used across the departmentAs a successful candidate, you will:Lead all project management aspects of assigned initiativesActs as a liaison with end users to determine scope of project requirements, available budget, and required project timeframeDevelops draft project scope, schedule and budgetary estimatePresents to end user and other responsible parties for approvalAdministrates pre-project activities, project implementation, performance and reporting, including adherence to project scope, financial targets, adherence to schedule and post-implementation reviewPerforms quality assurance inspections to ensure project specifications are metMonitors activity schedules, changes to schedules, their causes and budget impactCommunicates project status and facilitates communication between all parties involved on projectYour qualifications should include: Bachelor's degree in health administration, Public Health, or Business Administration. 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education. Two years of experience working in project management, healthcare or hospital operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
