Facilities Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and daily operations of the building and facilities. They supervise maintenance projects, coordinate repairs, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a functional, safe, and efficient environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities. Manage maintenance tasks, custodial staff, and contractors. Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance programs, as well as any reactive maintenance for forklifts, racking, storage equipment, loading dock infrastructure, shrink wrap machines and waste management equipment. Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance and safety issues. Coordinate repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. Monitor facility budgets and control maintenance expenses. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (OSHA) and conduct safety inspections including the facility LOTO program. Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and facility incidents. Manage vendor selection and relationships along with service contracts. Support space planning, renovations, and facility improvement projects. Ensure security systems and building access controls are functioning properly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems. Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
