Bilingual Associate Attorney

Responsibilities: • Estate Planning: Meet with clients and help design customized estate plans. • Courtroom Advocacy: Appear on court calls for estate administration and guardianship cases. • Litigation Support: Handle contested proceedings, including Will Contests, Citations to Recover, and heirship evidentiary hearings. • Estate & Trust Administration: Prepare informal estates, manage trust administration tasks, and utilize firm templates to build comprehensive legal strategies. • File Management: Maintain and manage independent client files from intake to resolution, working seamlessly within our firm's manual and systems. Qualifications: Critical Requirements • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Licensure: Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, OR a recent law graduate scheduled to sit for the July 2026 Illinois Bar Exam. • Language: Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required to serve our primary target market. Core Skills: • Obsession with details and a high level of organization. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages. • A natural multi-tasker with sharp problem-solving abilities ("thinking on your feet").
