About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Project Development to spearhead the creation of a low-carbon power data center infrastructure platform. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the origination and development of gigawatt-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on building strategic partnerships and advancing projects from concept to Final Investment Decision. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the project origination strategy, owning the development budget and project economics, and will be expected to have a proven track record in large-scale energy infrastructure project development. The role demands a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building a new business in a rapidly evolving market, and who can leverage an established executive network to originate and commercialize new infrastructure opportunities. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Project Development include building and leading the project development team, shaping the company's long-term infrastructure strategy, and representing the company with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in power, energy infrastructure, or digital infrastructure, and a deep understanding of the technical, commercial, and financial aspects of project development. Experience in developing utility-scale power infrastructure and a proven ability to contribute to commercial agreements with sophisticated partners are essential. The role is highly strategic and requires a leader who can manage the operating cadence, ensure projects are bankable, and align cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
