Accounting Manager

Description Integra, a Westwood strategic alliance company, is seeking a high-performing Accounting Manager to support our growing Puerto Rico operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with public accounting experience who is ready to move into a dynamic, operationally focused role with real influence on how the business runs. Job Type Full-time Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP Support the close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Partner with operational and finance leaders in Puerto Rico to ensure accurate financial and tax reporting aligned with corporate standards Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation Evaluate and enhance internal controls and accounting processes to improve efficiency and compliance Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex or non-routine transactions Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as needed Contribute to integration, system improvement, and process standardization initiatives Perform revenue accounting activities, including revenue recognition and compliance with applicable accounting standards Analyze project costs, margins, and profitability, providing insights and recommendations to operational leaders Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, including revenue, loans, cash movements, and currency translation activities Support multi-entity accounting operations and ensure accurate consolidation of financial results Assist with cross-border accounting and financial reporting matters related to Puerto Rico operations Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA required 4–5 years of experience with a public accounting firm Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly U.S. GAAP Experience with audits and financial statement preparation Demonstrated ability to translate technical accounting into practical business application Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams Preferred Experience Exposure to multi-entity or geographically distributed operations Experience supporting engineering, construction, or project-based environments Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
