About the Position

Familiarity with a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including complex admissions. Ability to float between units. Experience with cardiac telemetry management. Description: This position is in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a focus on border care. The role is night shifts from 19:30 to 08:00, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. The average daily census ranges from a minimum of 10 to up to 40 patients. The unit includes diverse patient populations and diagnoses. The nurse will be responsible for providing care within the scope and specialty. Fast-paced and high-volume setting is expected. Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Floating between different units is required based on patient needs. Candidates should possess skills in various areas, including telemetry management and care of complex patients. The role may include handling emergency situations and managing various medical procedures. All procedures and patient care must adhere to established standards and protocols. Travel experience is preferred. Prior charge experience is a plus. Candidates with experience in community hospitals preferred. Certification in CPI is required as part of compliance. All candidates must be prepared for potential changes in scheduling and patient ratios.
