Overview

PRN CT Technologist – PTO & Sick Time Coverage

Location: University of Maryland Charles Regional Imaging
Schedule: PRN | Flexible Coverage | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Seeking a flexible PRN CT Technologist to provide PTO and sick time coverage within a busy outpatient imaging center. In this role, you will combine advanced technical expertise with exceptional patient care to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities include performing CT examinations efficiently and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, service excellence, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards and best practices.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Review patient histories and verify exam appropriateness prior to scanning.
• Administer contrast materials as appropriate and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered (R), (CT) and (MR)
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable

Prior Experience:

• 0 - 2+ years of experience as a Cat Scan (CT) Technologist 

Special Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CT procedures and standards
• Skill in operation of CT equipment
• Customer service background and focus
