Our client is looking for a Pre-Authorization Speialist I in South Pasadena, CA! This is an initial 3-month contract with the likeliness of a direct offer opportunity offering a pay rate of $21.49/hour! Key Responsibilities Reviews authorization requests Performs utilization management activities to include precertifications, admission reviews, and retrospective authorizations, using established medical criteria. Supports providers in working to increase efficient utilization of services. Evaluates the medical necessity for inpatient hospital admission, and authorizes the admission along with the estimated length of stay. Requirements 1-3 years of relevant experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Med-National Staffing Inc.
