Together, these teams create the systems, programs, and experiences that empower our partners and colleagues across Biohub and Learning Commons to drive impact. This work requires strategic and operational rigor, creativity, and deep collaboration. Whether designing world-class employee experiences, safeguarding data and infrastructure, or shaping how we communicate our impact, Operations plays a critical role in helping deliver meaningful change at scale.The OpportunityWe're looking for a Project Manager, Marketing to help run how our team operates day to day. You'll manage the systems, processes, and workflows — from intake and prioritization to project tracking — that let us ship creative and production work efficiently, at a high bar of quality, and at scale. This role reports to the Marketing Operations Lead, within the broader Marketing & Communications organization.The ideal person for this role thinks in systems. You see a manual, repeatable task and know how to build an AI-assisted workflow that makes it faster and more reliable. You bring real judgment about how a creative team should operate, and you're comfortable working without a blueprint — you'll help figure out what processes the team needs and why, then build them.What You'll DoSystems & ProcessBuild and maintain the systems — intake, project tracking, approvals, asset and file management — that keep the team runningIdentify where AI can automate repetitive or manual work, from intake triage to status reporting, and build those workflowsDocument workflows and playbooks so processes scale beyond any one personProject & Workflow ManagementRun day-to-day project management across the team's creative and production work: intake, prioritization, timelines, and status trackingSpot bottlenecks before they become blockers, and help redesign the process, not just patch the symptomKeep multiple projects moving in parallel without letting details slipCross-Functional CoordinationServe as the point of contact for teams submitting creative and production requestsCoordinate timelines and dependencies across creative, content, and partner teamsMaintain dashboards and reporting on capacity and project statusEventsSupport logistics and planning for brand-related events, activations, or offsites as neededWhat You'll Bring5+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a similarly operational role, ideally supporting a brand, creative, or communications functionProven experience building or deploying AI-powered tools or workflows that reduced manual work — you can point to specific things you've built, not just tools you've usedHighly organized and detail-oriented; you catch the things others missSelf-motivated with strong follow-through; comfortable creating structure and process where none exists yetCollaborative and easy to work with across a range of stakeholders and working stylesStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort working with project management/collaboration tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Jira)Event planning or logistics experience is a plusCompensationThe Redwood City, CA base pay range for a new hire in this role is $138,000- $189,200. New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. Actual placement in range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. This position may be eligible to participate in our discretionary annual performance bonus program. Bonus eligibility and targets are determined in accordance with our total rewards philosophy and may vary by role.Better TogetherAs we grow, we’re excited to strengthen in-person connections and cultivate a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role is a hybrid position requiring you to be onsite for at least 60% of the working month, approximately 3 days a week, with specific in-office days determined by the team’s manager.
