Guthrie & Frey is a family run well pump service company is Wales WI We specialize in servicing well pump equipment throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

Summary

We are looking to add to our growing team. Aside from being a valuable member on an awesome team the Pump Technician will be assisting with excavating and could lead to an apprenticeship operating backhoes.

This position is essential for supporting our operations in the well pump division. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality solutions to our customers. With additional locations in Mequon & Hartland WI.

Responsibilities/Duties: Would include but not limited to:

• Diagnosing problems with a well pump system including electrical and mechanical problems.

• Replacement of well pumps, water pressure tanks, and controls.

• Installation of new water systems in new home with private wells.

Qualifications & Skills:

. Ability to use electrical testing equipment. Such as multi meters and amp meters.

• Ability to use hand tools such as pipe wrenches and an assortment of hand tools.

• Ability to work inside and outside in most weather conditions.

• Willingness to learn simple welding techniques.

• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 60 pounds.

• Ability to interact face-to-face with customers.

• Good verbal and written communication.

Requirements:

• Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

• A minimum of 18 years old.
