Job Summary:
Nursing Supervisor position located in Bethpage, New York. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of a busy, state-of-the-art off-site reprocessing center that provides sterile processing services for multiple facilities, including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers. The supervisor ensures staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures, and acts as a liaison between the sterile processing department and perioperative areas to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week, with every third weekend required.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD), which must not expire during the assignment. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, leadership or management experience required, Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds, stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Additional Information: The position involves supervising and coordinating staff, managing sterilization activities, and maintaining accurate department records.
