Details Work in the Surgery Recovery Room of a hospital environment Provides pre and post-operative care for OR, GI, and IR patients 13-week assignment on day shift, 8-hour shifts with scheduled start between 0600 and 0800 depending on department need Call requirements of 1-2 shifts per weekday and every third weekend (Friday end of shift through 0630 Monday) Holiday coverage rotates among staff May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 2 years of experience required Experience in pre/post OR, GI, IR, and PACU settings required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provides recovery room nursing care to surgical patients Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate First-time travelers may not be considered given the travel experience requirement American Traveler Job ID P-743725.
