Production Planner

Responsibilities Work closely with IBP, Customer Service, Logistics and Operations team to support the definition and management production planning elements of Plan for Every Part (PFEP). Own the review and updating of production planning parameters in JDEdwards (ERP/MRP). Create production schedules that balance customer demand, Complete and On Time (COT) targets, inventory management and shop floor optimization, within agreed upon finite capacity models. Create and manage work orders in the JDEwards environment. Support the IBP team and Ultralox Finance to understand and set production targets by product family to support the organization’s sales and service targets. Work closely with Plant Production and Engineering leadership and their teams to identify capacity requirements and other resource needs to meet production targets by family. Coordinate ‘clear to build’ reviews of upcoming production schedules to confirm component availability; proactively communicate potential gaps to customer service and purchasing. Coordinate directly with logistics functions when appropriate to facilitate expedited shipments. Own schedule attainment metrics and support the operations team in productivity and efficiency metrics. Actively support Ultralox ‘Zero Harm’ policy and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience: 3+ years of production planning management in a manufacturing environment. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel; JD Edwards ERP or similar system. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; collaborative working style.
