American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration and vascular surgery experience for a 13-week assignment in a clinical setting serving adolescent and adult patients. Details Work within the Interventional Radiology department serving adolescent and adult patients 13-week assignment with 4x10 hour shifts Shift start times of 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM depending on call rotation Flexibility to work holidays as needed Call required from 7 PM to 7 AM, including one weekday call each week and one weekend call per month Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards Uses EPIC for charting Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology required Experience in Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery procedures required Previous scrub case experience required Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date Current ARRT R.T.(R) registration required ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) required within 18 months of start date, though current VI certification is strongly preferred Current BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross) Active license required, if applicable Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred Associate's degree preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills required Must be flexible to work varied hours, shift lengths, and locations Additional Information Produce high-quality diagnostic images for Radiology and assigned Operating Room areas Practice safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self Foster teamwork through effective communication Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths Respond to on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends Facility may call off or cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census On-site position with no teleworking option These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
