As a Security Officer Patrol Guardian in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping put people first in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or local public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and help to address policy-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and notable observations, and communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
