We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No Holidays! To encourage this, we provide regular opportunities for professional development, we seek out feedback and ideas, and we invite participation on a variety of projects.The Job:Greets and checks in patients.Assists patients in filling out patient forms.Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.Develops patient charts.Enters pertinent information into patient charts.Schedules patient appointments.Collects co-payments from patients.Performs general office duties.Respects and maintains confidentiality.Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.The Requirements:A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.Must possess strong desktop computer skills.Experience with EPIC is preferred.Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
