Operations Administrator

NXT Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a Temporary Operations Administrator to join their busy Operations team during a period of operational transition. This is a great opportunity for an organised and reliable administrator who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and is confident communicating with customers and colleagues. You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to‑day running of operations. What you’ll be doing Accurately record and update jobs on internal systems, ensuring all documentation is completed, including Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and Consignment Notes. Book in deliveries and collections, entering information accurately and in line with company processes. Liaise with customers where appropriate, providing professional and helpful communication. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and actions taken. Update departmental KPI information to support the smooth running of the Operations team. Work collaboratively with other departments. Provide general administrative and office support, including scanning, filing, document management and data entry. Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements and site rules. Support the wider team with any other duties relevant to the role. What we’re looking for Previous administration experience is desirable. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Confident using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner. A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive working relationships. Able to multitask and prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
