Senior Technical Leadership RoleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).10+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, network engineering, or platform operations.5+ years in senior technical leadership roles.Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms preferred.Experience integrating Order & Activation Platforms (OAP) in fiber or telecom environments.Proven success stabilizing, consolidating, and scaling platforms in high-growth organizations.Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Engineering & Enterprise PlatformsOwn systems engineering strategy across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments supporting enterprise and OSS-adjacent platforms.Drive platform stability, lifecycle management, automation, backup, and disaster recovery.Ensure architectural consistency and integration integrity across systems.Act as escalation owner for OAP-related customer or wholesale activation issues.Network Engineering & ConnectivityPartner with Network Operations and NOC teams to ensure internal networks support production fiber operations.Implement monitoring, observability, and proactive performance management.Support new product development through network and platform readiness.Eliminate manual provisioning through automation and hardened workflows.IT Operations & End-User EnablementLead corporate IT operations including end-user computing, endpoint lifecycle management, identity and access management, SaaS platforms, and IT service management.Establish ITIL-aligned service delivery practices including SLAs, escalation models, incident response, and change management.Standardize tools, security baselines, and configurations to improve reliability and employee experience.Serve as executive escalation point for critical IT outages and security incidents.Operational Stability & Platform ConsolidationOwn stability across IT, systems, networks, OAP, and wholesale integrations.Drive vendor rationalization, system consolidation, and technical debt reduction.Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and lead teams across IT Support, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, and Platform Integration.Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders.Operate as a player-coach during critical initiatives or incidents.Behavioral CompetenciesOwnership & Accountability -- Owns outcomes end-to-end and enforces accountability.Operational Discipline -- Brings structure, rigor, and repeatability to complex environments.Execution in Ambiguity -- Thrives in startup and high-growth conditions.Collaborative Leadership -- Builds trust across engineering, operations, finance, and executives.Calm Under Pressure -- Leads decisively during outages and escalations.Continuous Improvement -- Drives simplification, stability, and optimization.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).10+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, network engineering, or platform operations.5+ years in senior technical leadership roles.Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms preferred.Experience integrating Order & Activation Platforms (OAP) in fiber or telecom environments.Proven success stabilizing, consolidating, and scaling platforms in high-growth organizations.Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.Measures of SuccessStable, predictable IT and platform operations.Reduced outages, failed activations, and wholesale integration defects.Simplified and consolidated technology landscape.Scalable foundation supporting sustained fiber and wholesale growth.High confidence from executives, operations teams, and partners.
