Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location Spokane, WA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
Float between units within the facility as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
Maintain flexibility to work weekends per facility needs
Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment
Required Qualifications

Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission — post-offer requests may not be considered
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under alternative terms)
2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience, particularly within a large health system environment
Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple units
Experience working in high-acuity Medical Surgical settings with higher patient ratios
