Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $2,232.00 per week

Shifts: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for various shifts as needed

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in PACU - Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in Shreveport, LA. This role offers the opportunity to provide care to a diverse range of patients, from newborns to geriatric, in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be able to manage critical care patients when necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments; monitor side-effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

BLS certification required from AHA
ACLS certification required from AHA
PALS certification from AHA or ENPC certification required
RN License in state of employment or compact
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
