Maintenance Facilities Engineer

The Maintenance Facilities Engineer at the American National Red Cross supports safe, reliable facilities that enable critical humanitarian services. Reporting to the Facilities, Maintenance & Asset Management department, this role oversees preventive maintenance, repairs, and minor projects for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety equipment. The engineer coordinates vendors, ensures regulatory and safety compliance, manages work orders, and supports space, asset, and equipment planning. This position partners closely with staff and volunteers to minimize downtime, optimize facility performance, and uphold the Red Cross mission of compassionate service.
