Responsibilities Responsible for the independent performance of technical procedures, including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Participates in Quality management processes as needed. Qualifies as a General Supervisor designate, per CLIA, in the absence of the Section Supervisor or Manager. Shift covers Central Lab Microbiology; Night shift staff is required to cover Blood Bank and Stat Microbiology. Requirements A B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program A B.S in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS HHS sanctioned reviewer, ASCP accreditation or equivalent. A B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science degree that includes 60 semester hours of medical lab technology courses or other sciences as specified by CLIA. 5 years experience in a licensed Clinical laboratory. M.T. or MLS (ASCP) preferred Core Lab (Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis). Evening shift covers Central Lab Microbiology; Night shift staff is required to cover Blood Bank and Stat Microbiology. Min USD $31.94/Hr. Max USD $57.49/Hr. Salary Information Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
