Mounting Operator - 3rd Shift

Set-up and run mounting equipment, maintaining good quality, productivity, and work attitude.

Job Description

Set-up and run required jobs on mounting equipment, mount production pieces to specific substrates through the process of gluing and adhering two pieces of material together. Maintain standard of quality. Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting assistant/department manager. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Work overtime when needed. Report accurate time and quantities using the "ELF" systems. Perform other tasks as requested. Be responsible for maintaining glue inventory. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

• High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience
• 1 year mounting experience on any material

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds.
• Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
• Basic Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.
• Supports a safe work environment.
• Knowledge of production materials.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
• Frequent walking and standing.
