Brand & Founder Assistant

DDAM is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Brand & Founder Assistant to join our fast-paced clothing brand team. This part-time, hourly position offers hands-on experience in fashion retail operations, e-commerce management, and business administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a varied work environment, bring a genuine passion for fashion and brand culture, and contribute directly to the founder's daily operations and strategic initiatives — including personal assistance and influencer relations. Responsibilities Administrative & Operations Support: Assist with diverse daily operational tasks and special projects Manage inventory tracking, fulfillment, and logistics coordination Maintain organized filing systems and databases using Excel and Google Drive Handle multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities Personal Assistant Support: Manage the founder's calendar, appointments, and scheduling Run personal and business-related errands as needed Coordinate travel arrangements, reservations, and itineraries Handle personal tasks and to-do's on behalf of the founder to support day-to-day efficiency Anticipate needs and proactively manage priorities to keep the founder organized and on track Customer Relations & Communication: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues via email Maintain professional communication standards representing the DDAM brand Coordinate with customers regarding shipping, returns, and product questions Influencer & Gifting Execution: Execute the influencer gifting process as directed, including pulling and preparing products, packaging, and labeling shipments Ensure gifted packages are assembled accurately and presented in an on-brand manner Coordinate drop-offs and shipments of gifted products in a timely fashion Maintain organized records of gifting activity, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations Communicate with influencers as needed regarding shipping details and logistics Support the founder with any additional gifting tasks or fulfillment needs as they arise Logistics & Transportation: Conduct regular driving assignments for business operations (significant driving component) Pick up inventory, supplies, and handle various errands Coordinate deliveries and vendor relationships Technical & Analytical Tasks: Learn and utilize various e-commerce platforms and business software Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking sales, inventory, influencer gifting, and operations Assist with data entry and analysis projects Qualifications Location & Availability: Must reside within 30 minutes driving distance from our office and operational locations Flexible schedule availability — able to work more or fewer days as business needs fluctuate Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Drive/Google Workspace Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms Comfortable with technology and digital tools Professional Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong multitasking abilities with excellent time management Problem-solving mindset — able to research and resolve complex issues independently High-stress tolerance, especially during peak business periods (product drops, sales events) Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Go-getter attitude with proactive approach to identifying and solving problems Genuine kindness and positive interpersonal skills — able to work harmoniously with team members, customers, vendors, and influencer partners Self-motivated with ability to take initiative without constant supervision Discretion and trustworthiness when handling personal and confidential information Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or fashion industry Experience in a personal assistant or executive assistant role Familiarity with influencer marketing or PR gifting processes Familiarity with inventory management systems Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, streetwear, and emerging brands This position operates in a dynamic, fast-growing business environment where priorities can shift quickly.
