SUMMARY

This is an entry level position assisting in daily Front of House operations to deliver a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience to all guests. Maintain all aspects of the service areas. Serve as a support to the Dining Room team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room/phone standards and etiquette Expediently and with great skill performs polishing/sorting/distributing all types of glasses and silverware/Ability to identify various types of glassware and silverware Recognizes all linens and folds for all shifts. Strip linens daily for service Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers Able to clear/set/reset a table (Breakfast/Tea/Dinner) Knowledge of garden setup/breakdown (including fire-pit seasonally) Storage of flowers and setup/breakdown Location and retrieval of Ice/ will routinely refill ice Can properly break down dishes in wait station #4 Able to reset tables to pristine condition Maintains organization in WS4 Has understanding of property layout and where all the rooms are located Demonstrates understanding of The Forbes Travel Guide’s standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Excellent communication skills Must be at least 16 years of age Must be well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos Must have reliable transportation Desirable Familiarity with Forbes Standards Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French Certification in alcohol awareness program Certification in CPR Prior experience with Resortsuite and Tock

Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written Must always be organized and maintain cleanliness of workstation Ability to speak using clear and professional language Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to cross-train across multiple departments and assist when needed Ability to assist guests with questions about the property, it’s history, and surrounding areas

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
