Occupational Therapist School Setting in Menifee, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience or strong interest in a K-12 school environment
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to inclusive and student-centered practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students with a variety of needs
• Develop customized treatment plans to address fine/gross motor and sensory challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to implement strategies in and out of the classroom
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and prepare required reports
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral team member
• Offer training and support to school staff and caregivers to maximize student success
