Senior Clinical System Lead

ICON seeks a Senior Clinical System Lead to direct clinical data science project teams responsible for initiating, planning, setting up, and maintaining systems for clinical trials. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, supporting business development, and managing project timelines and deliverables across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct one or more clinical data science project teams through initiation, planning, and system setup phases
• Perform peer review of technical documentation, work output, and case report forms for quality assurance
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on assigned clinical studies
• Manage system integration setup, vendor interactions, and track project issues affecting timelines or budgets
• Support business development efforts through bid defense presentations and sales participation

Requirements

• 5+ years clinical data management experience with system implementation and management
• Technical understanding of relational databases and ability to create data flow diagrams
• Applied project management skills including timeline, resource, and financial forecasting
• Deep knowledge of protocol requirements and data collection structures
• Experience leading internal UAT of configured system solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; fluent English and host country language
