AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair to add an experienced Automotive Technician to a busy DeSoto operation averaging 6080 vehicles per week, with current technicians producing approximately 5075 flagged hours per week.

Whether you're a solid B-Level Technician ready to take on more advanced work or an experienced A-Level/Diagnostic Technician interested in growing toward Shop Foreman, we want to talk.

The Work Is Here

6080 vehicles/week | 11 stalls | 6 technicians | 5 service advisors

Approximately 70% of the workload is general repair, including the mechanical work experienced B- and A-Level technicians should be comfortable handling.

The vehicle mix is approximately 80% domestic / 20% European.

European experience is a plus, not required.

What You'll Do

• General automotive repair and maintenance
• Brakes, steering and suspension
• Engine and cooling-system repairs
• Electrical and drivability diagnosis
• Check-engine-light and performance concerns
• Scan-data and electrical testing
• Complex mechanical diagnosis and repair

What We're Looking For

• Professional automotive repair experience
• Strong general repair capability
• Ability to independently complete quality repairs
• Diagnostic ability appropriate to your experience level
• Desire to continue developing technically
• Professional tools appropriate for your skill level
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

You don't need to be a Master Technician to be considered. If you're a strong B-Level technician who's ready for more responsibility, we want to hear from you.

And if you're already the technician others come to when they're stuck and you're interested in leadership, Allstate is looking for someone who could grow into a Shop Foreman role.
