Location: Relate Counseling Center – Eden Prairie, MN

Job Type: Full Time OR Part Time

Pay Range: $70,000–$90,000 annually for full-time employment, commensurate with experience and licensure. Compensation for part-time employment will be prorated based on the employee’s regular schedule.

Position Overview

The Inclusion Manager / Mental Health Therapist is a combined position that integrates organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership with clinical mental health services.

Eight (8) hours per week are dedicated to Inclusion Manager responsibilities. The remaining hours are dedicated to clinical responsibilities, based on the employee's agreed-upon schedule, clinical qualifications, and organizational needs.

This position may be structured as either part-time or full-time. For example, an employee working 24 hours per week would generally spend eight hours on Inclusion Manager responsibilities and approximately 16 hours on clinical work. A full-time employee would generally spend eight hours on Inclusion Manager responsibilities and the remainder of their schedule on clinical work.

The Inclusion Manager collaborates with leadership, Human Resources, Clinical Directors, the Inclusion Council, and other teams to develop and implement inclusion and equity strategies and initiatives that align with Relate's mission and values. In the clinical portion of the role, the employee provides mental health services to individuals, families, and/or couples and may provide clinical supervision or consultation, depending on qualifications and organizational needs.

The Inclusion Manager leads the organization’s belonging and engagement initiatives while building strong, trusted relationships with community members, referral partners, and local organizations. This role champions Relate’s inclusion efforts by engaging and equipping staff to bring its values to life in their everyday work and interactions. This role also strengthens community connections, expands access to services, elevates community perspectives, and identifies meaningful opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

Specific Responsibilities

Inclusion Management – 8 Hours Per Week

The Inclusion Manager portion of this position is consistently allocated eight hours per week, regardless of whether the employee's overall schedule is full-time or part-time.

Inclusion Management responsibilities will include:

· Serve as an ambassador and advocate for inclusive and equitable initiatives, bridging internal teams and external community partners.

· Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, workgroups and key stakeholders/investors.

· Collaborate with clinical directors and human resources to develop a robust set of training and other experiential activities to foster a common understanding of inclusion and belonging concepts and set of skills among staff at all levels.

· Develop, train, and raise cultural competency for all staff to communicate and collaborate successfully at work.

· Facilitate Inclusion Council meetings and coordinate with team leaders.

· Manage and grow community outreach and engagement programs and activities and assist in the development of content and methodologies to help build a diverse clientele.

· Participate in program development. Coordinate, provide oversight, and evaluate progress and data collection of inclusion programming. Create and run training sessions on equity and inclusion.

· Assign, coordinate, and provide oversight of the responsibilities of the Small Council members. Approve billable hours on a monthly basis.

· Participate in management, administrative and clinical meetings. Ensure members of the Inclusion Council are kept informed of organizational decisions that pertain to relevant initiatives.

· Partner with Clinical Directors and Human Resources to support equitable and inclusive recruitment, hiring, and onboarding practices and recommend improvements as appropriate.

· Manage the sharing of resources through a newsletter, SharePoint site, social media content

· Provides clear, engaging, and timely communication across the organization to build understanding of key goals and initiatives, encourage participation, and strengthen collaboration and shared ownership.

Clinical Responsibilities – Hours Vary Based on Overall Schedule

Clinical hours will make up the remainder of the employee's agreed-upon work schedule. The number of clinical hours may vary depending on whether the employee works a part-time or full-time schedule, client and organizational needs, and the employee's qualifications and licensure.

Clinical responsibilities will include:

• Provide counseling services to clients consistent with established productivity and billable-hour expectations.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy services in an outpatient setting.
• Offer parent coaching to support treatment goals.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and families to establish and achieve therapeutic goals.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate mental health services for clients.
• Consult and collaborate with other providers to support client needs.
• Participate in the development and evaluation of clinical programs and recommend changes when appropriate.
• Participate in required in-services and workshops to maintain applicable licensure and Rule 245I requirements.
• Provide staff training, consultation, or presentations as appropriate.

Clinical Supervision, if Applicable

Depending on licensure, experience, organizational needs, and the agreed-upon structure of the position, responsibilities may also include:

• Provide leadership and consultation to clinical staff.
• Supervise clinical staff, caseloads, and related responsibilities to support the quality and quantity of services provided.
• Monitor achievement of applicable clinical and billable-hour expectations.
• Provide clinical consultation, coaching, and support to staff.

Performance will be evaluated based on:

· Achievement of established goals and implementation of initiatives.

· Effectiveness of inclusion education, engagement, and organizational support.

· Achievement of established clinical productivity and billable-hour expectations.

· Quality of clinical services and timely completion of required documentation.

· Effective collaboration with leadership, staff, clients, and community partners.

· Successful fulfillment of clinical supervisory responsibilities, if applicable.

Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Or Doctorate in Psychology.

· 3–5 years of relevant professional experience leading or supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, accessibility, or organizational culture initiatives.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement equity and inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives that support organizational goals.

· Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to move initiatives from planning through implementation and evaluation.

· Experience facilitating conversations and training on complex or sensitive topics with employees and leaders at different levels of an organization.

· Ability to build relationships and credibility across different identities, perspectives, roles, and levels of authority.

· Strong communication skills, including the ability to make complex concepts understandable, relevant, and actionable.

· Demonstrated ability to navigate disagreement, resistance, and emotionally charged conversations with professionalism, curiosity, and good judgment.

· Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on evolving inclusion and belonging practices, terminology, legal considerations, and community perspectives.

· Independent clinical licensure (e.g., LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC) required; Board-approved supervisor status preferred.

· Experience working with Individuals, families, and/or couples in a clinical setting.

· Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
