Kell Mechanical is a fast-growing commercial HVAC contractor looking for an experienced, motivated Account Executive / Project Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to build their own customer base, sell work, manage their projects, and take ownership from the initial opportunity through final customer turnover. We are not looking for someone who simply estimates projects and hands them off. We are looking for a motivated individual who can develop relationships, identify opportunities, close work, manage what they sell, and build a long-term book of business.

Responsibilities Include

• Develop new customer relationships and grow existing accounts.
• Build and maintain your own customer base.
• Identify and pursue new commercial HVAC opportunities.
• Attend job walks and evaluate project requirements.
• Review mechanical plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, budgets, and detailed scopes of work.
• Present proposals and negotiate projects with customers.
• Solicit and review equipment, material, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate equipment selections and procurement.
• Collect, review, and submit equipment submittals.
• Prepare, submit, and track RFIs.
• Prepare and manage change orders.
• Work closely with our design and engineering team to develop practical and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
• Assist with design-build projects and engineering coordination.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Manage project budgets, labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Track job costs and maintain project profitability.
• Attend project meetings and maintain consistent communication with customers.
• Resolve project issues quickly and professionally.
• Coordinate startup, commissioning, punch-list, and closeout activities.
• Manage projects through final completion and customer turnover.
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business.

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, accountable, competitive, and comfortable taking ownership of both sales and project performance. Commercial HVAC experience is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience in some combination of:

• Commercial HVAC sales & Business development
• Commercial HVAC estimating
• Project management
• Design-build construction
• Reading mechanical plans and specifications
• Equipment selection
• Vendor and subcontractor coordination
• Project budgeting and cost control
• Change-order management
• Bluebeam & Microsoft Excel
• Construction/project management software

The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication, organization, customer service, and profitability. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments, protects the company's interests, takes care of the customer, and understands that a successful project needs to be successful for both the customer and Kell Mechanical.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
