Commercial Bank & Trust is looking for a Trust Operations Specialist to join our Trust team!This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with accounting information, problem-solving, and being part of a collaborative team.What You'll DoAs a Trust Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our Trust Department by:Processing trust and investment transactions accurately and efficiently.Reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records.Assisting with payments, wire transfers, and scheduled account transactions.Supporting investment activity and account maintenance.Working with trust officers, investment advisors, and other team members to ensure exceptional service.Helping maintain accurate records while following bank policies and regulatory requirements.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.Two or more years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions is a plus.Basic knowledge of accounting principles or financial reporting.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and collaborate.Why You'll Love Working HereAt CBTC, our Core Values—Integrity, Respect, Trust, Client Service, Collaboration, Accountability, and Community Commitment—guide everything we do.
