To ensure manufactured products meet the specified standards and specifications of the print and the final product meet quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow procedures and instructions for in process and final inspections across a wide variety of customized parts and assemblies with very close tolerances and specifications. Determine method of inspection and set up requirements on first article parts. Has authority and is responsible for notifying management to stop a machine operation to avoid continued production of defective parts. Maintain records of results using 1Factory system and prepare appropriate reports. Follow Safety Rules Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 4 years experience as inspector in a precision machining environment Knowledge and experience of blueprint and spec interpretation Experienced using all inspection hand gauging including: micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges and etc. Computer experience documenting and plotting inspection data Capable of coordinating the inspection planning of a job Excellent organization and communication skills Salary Pay Range: $16.68 - $22.12 USD Hourly Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training . In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation .
