Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated L&D RN to join a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit, providing compassionate care to both neonates and adults. This role involves inpatient rooming with mothers and occasional newborn nursery care, primarily during nighttime shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care to neonates and adults in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe delivery and postpartum procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation using designated medication and communication systems.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to clinical guidelines and certifications.
• Support new parents and provide education on post-delivery care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Basic proficiency with Omnicell medication systems and SBAR communication.
• Experience with inpatient rooming-in and newborn nursery care preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts) from 19:00 to 07:00.
