Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced L&D Registered Nurse to provide critical care on a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves managing patient care for neonates and adults during night shifts, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care for neonates and adult patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, responding promptly to changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions and patient status.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Support newborn care utilizing nursery resources as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid MA nursing license.
• Possess at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Maintain certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Omnicell medication system and SBAR communication.
• Be skilled in handling special procedures and neonatal care.
• Experience with Cerner preferred but not mandatory.
