Assistant Coach, Women's Field Hockey

Job Overview The Assistant Coach of Women\'s Field Hockey will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive NCAA Division I Field Hockey program that competes in the Big Ten Conference. The position includes recruiting, scouting, coaching, travel coordination, program administration, fundraising, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The candidate will develop and maintain effective interaction with student-athletes, colleagues, university staff, alumni, the international hockey community, and the general public. The role requires knowledge and commitment to compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations, and dedication to the full academic development of student-athletes. Responsibilities Recruit, scout, and coach student‑athletes. Coordinate travel and event logistics. Manage program administration and fundraising activities. Assist with compliance and academic support. Communicate with staff, alumni, and the public. Qualifications & Requirements Experience in NCAA Division I field hockey coaching or playing. Knowledge of NCAA and Big Ten regulations and policies. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel/crouch, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds. Preferences Competitive international coaching and/or playing experience (FIH).
