Medical Receptionist

Were hiring a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to support patients at a busy Clinton Township location. This position is approximately 50% patient/phone interaction and 50% administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in person and over the phone

• Schedule appointments and coordinate clinical staff schedules

• Verify insurance benefits, authorizations, and referrals

• Process and track patient orders

• Maintain medical records and documentation

• Provide compassionate service to patients of all ages

What Were Looking For:

• 1+ years of recent Healthcare experience in a similar position

• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, HAP, Blue Cross, or DME is a strong plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm with frustrated or stressed patients

• Strong computer, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
