Human Resources GeneralistPartners with HR Team and Management to formulate HR plans and support the implementation of HR and company initiatives. Provides support in the functional areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Compensation, Talent Management, and Compliance for all Branch locations within the designated region.The Nuts and BoltsPartner with HR peers and Managers to administer and coordinate responsibilities in the following functional areas (Based on Experience and Need): Employee Relations, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Assessment & Succession Planning, Training, Performance Management, Policy Implementation & Administration, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Affirmative Action and Employment Law ComplianceProvide general coaching and counseling to employees in areas of HRParticipate in developing department goals, objectives and systemsMaintain and coordinate employee recognition programsOversee and administer all aspects of Team Member onboarding and orientation process for their respective area, including but not limited to, providing and processing of new hire paperwork throughout all sites within the designated region.Facilitate and/or provide learning and development / training to the workforceMay organize, assess and track employee training by partnering with operations team to support company production goalsAssists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goalsRecommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performedMaintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the databasePartner with employees and management to ensure compliance and communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulationsCoach and counsel the Leadership Team on appropriate corrective action level, as well as tracking of corrective action for consistency and implementationConducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for continuous improvementResponsible for representing the Company at unemployment hearings, when necessaryMonitor, coach, train and provide counsel in the administration of the performance management /evaluation program as necessaryAssist with the administration of the performance management /evaluation program, including partnering with Operations team to track 30/60/90 day performance reviews and provide feedback on disciplinary levelsRespond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaintsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement of core HR function and responsibility, including developing project plans, leading a project and implementing solutionsTrusted advisor to the Leadership TeamRequired CredentialsB.S. in Human Resources preferredSeven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive HR Generalist experienceExperience in the administration and coordination of Human ResourcesManufacturing industry background or experience requiredPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP Certification preferredHow We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
