Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions affecting physical mobility and functional independence
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across acute and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide specialty care ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Travel between Corvallis and Albany to provide care at multiple points of service based on patient need
- Document patient progress using the EMR system and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for continued independence
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification (BLS/BCLS) required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Willingness to travel between Corvallis and Albany as needed
- Ability to work every weekend - Saturday and Sunday
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and functional mobility interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population across the lifespan
- Adaptable to fast-paced acute and outpatient environments
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Point Click)
