About the role As Lead Customer Specialist, your focus is on delivering a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. This role operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, leading the team and elevating the customer experience. The impact you can have In this role, you'll have the opportunity to: Initiate authentic conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service. Partner with the team to deliver a customer-centered experience that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. Share your knowledge of Chico's products and services with customers to outfit and inspire them. Cultivate long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach about new products, promotions, and in-store events. Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards. Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams. Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices. Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration. Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives that expand Chico's presence. You’ll bring to the role Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence. Must be at least 18 years old. 1+ year retail experience preferred. Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays. Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example. Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills. Collaborative leadership style that invests in the process of developing talent. Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
